There are a number of agencies that are in the Department of Defense hierarchy. Some agencies don’t even have FOIA webpages, making them among the least user-friendly in terms of providing easy online FOIA information.
Until this changes, it is recommended that a FOIA requester narrow down the agency needed and use the portal at the FIOA.gov site. Requesters may need to fax or mail requests.
